A mission for accessibility
We are the Oregon Middle School Speech & Debate League.
Since 2017, we have been operating as an independent NPO run by dedicated high school student volunteers.
We work alongside coaches and volunteers to host tournaments and workshops. We also connect with and start programs on the ground.
We keep in touch with over a dozen middle school teams, including long established programs like those at Lake Oswego Middle School, Oregon Episcopal School, and Marshfield Middle School.
We run a few seasonal tournaments annually, often with over 100+ entries. We also try to host workshops and a summer camp. We fundraise at tournaments selling concessions and accepting donations. All generous community support goes directly back into our work.
